Santa Marinha, Melides

Undoubtedly the oldest building in our parish, it is believed to date back to the 15th century, with its first historical reference in 1544 (by the provost of the Order of Santiago).

Abandoned for at least 60 years, only its sturdy military adobe walls have survived. The building currently stands in neglect.

With a multidisciplinary team of professionals, Salvador is working on a plan to protect, restore, and breathe new life into this iconic architectural heritage.
